A time in which polka dots were hot, shoulder pads were necessary and members only jackets were the staple of fashion. That’s right; we took a fantastic voyage back to the 80’s. Last week, Engauge Digital employees and guest pulled out the jelly bracelets, leggings and white suits and partied 80’s prom style.

The social committee agreed that if we were going to pull off an 80’s prom, then we had to go 80’s prom all the way. The venue was decked out with coloful stars, cheesy banners and bodacious balloons, making he perfect 80’s setting. After some mingling, dancing and prom pictures, we all settled into groups for a fun presentation, some hysterical trivia and the annual holiday video. Finally, the annual Employee of the Year award, which is the highest of honor here at Engauge Digital was presented to a well-deserving Mrs. Lisa Clark.

Lisa Clark - Engauge Digital Employee of the Year

There were also year book photos, prom King and Queen and -yes- superlatives. We voted on 5 categories: Best Dressed, Class Clown, Biggest Flirt, Most Talkative and Most School Spirit (winners provided below). During the presentation, superlative winners were announced and presented with their trophies and the first annual Engauge Digital’s King and Queen were crowned. Needless to say the end result was rather amusing.

And the winners are:

Biggest Flirt: Travis Bailey, Sharon Haber

Most Talkative: Rick Diaz, Amanda Neel

Whether it was the delicious finger food, super-spiked punch or fantastic prom pictures, this party was by far one of our best. A special thanks to Engauge for allowing us to put on a totally awesome party. A very special thanks to the Digital social committee … you all rocked it!!
